The Degree Show

The Degree Show

Client: Ravensbourne University London

Role: Creative Team Lead

We wanted to move the show away from the corporate feel of previous years and back to highlight the diversity and quality of the students work. Our initial research found that visitors find the Ravensbourne building difficult to navigate and were missing out whole chunks of previous years exhibitions – for us, way-finding became the key component of the concept.

We looked at ways to simply navigate the building and the most logical way to implement elements of a topological map – we achieved this by colour coding floors, having maps, banners, and distinct signage to help people navigate the show and ensure nothing was missed.

M/Y Minx

M/Y Minx

Client: Insignia Yachts Limited

The owner wanted to repeat the charter success of his previous larger yacht with his new chaser yacht. The Princess 88 is a unique yacht – it’s size allows it to get into smaller harbors and coves than her larger counterparts but still has many of the features previously exclusive to larger yachts.

I wanted to show the versatility of Minx, to do this I came up with the concept of showing how the different spaces of the yacht can be configured for different times of day and activities from the exact same angle.

M/Y Minx Video

In total for this project, I delivered assets including Branding, Images, Video, Digital & Print Collateral.

Knox Capital Solutions

Knox Capital Solutions

Client: Knox Capital Solutions

The brief was to create bespoke collateral and branding for a provider of financial services to ultra-high net worth individuals while limiting production costs. I worked with a former client to expand our previous work and move the brand more towards its new focus of ultra-high net worth clients.

The client was keen for it to have an opulent travel feel that played on their tagline “navigating finance”. The key to us achieving this was the visual impact, we sought imagery of quality navigational objects. In addition to this, we used a rich shade of gold with a pure black and spot UV watermark of the logo throughout to add layers within the collateral. All aspects of the presentation blended together produced a rich luxurious feel that met the exact demands of the client at the minimal cost required.

Christophers

Christophers

Client: Final Major Project at Ravensbourne University London

My strategy with Christopher is to link travel and art and create a cultural hub that hosts the events our target want to say they were at and holds the best new art from around the world that they want to buy. To achieve this I created the brand ‘Christophers’ inspired by the patron saint for travelers St. Christopher. After extensive research I settled on a Wordmark rather than a logo; among high-end brands, there has been a shift towards strong wordmarks.

One of the outcomes was a book/guide that showed the up and coming and underappreciated art along Phileas Fogg’s route around the world in 80 days. One of the others was a digital presence that drove people to buy the books and engage with the events.

Contracting Scout

Contracting Scout

Client: Contractor Services Group

Contracting Scout is a comparison site for multiple UK contractor sector jobs and services aimed at corporate professionals.

I sought out a brief to create a brand, web and print collateral for a company that would innovate the UK contractor sector. The company would compare and provide its own products and services to the sector. The client wanted a brand with a fun element, similar to traditional comparison sites, but would also sit well alongside the more corporate product they’d offer.

In total for this project the assets delivered included: Branding, Brochures and other print collateral, Web Designs, and promotional material for digital ad campaigns.

MUBI Quotes

MUBI Quotes

Client: D&AD New Blood & MUBI

For D&AD New Blood, MUBI was looking for concept campaigns to encourage people to sign up and stop scrolling through lower quality content from other providers. Our research showed that MUBI users are more discerning and use it in conjunction with other streaming services. We came up with the concept to use quintessential movie quotes and stills to present the audience with a series of humorous parodied misquotes. The familiarity and colloquial tone encourage further investigation of MUBI. We’d place the adverts in high-end newspapers magazine and on the transport network in the autumn to entice people to sign up.

Button Tea

Button Tea

Client: Button Tea

I provided a full complement of creative services for this project. The owner came to me with a name “Creativitea” however after discussions with her I helped her to find a new name which would be easier to pronounce and spell so she wouldn’t lose business due to confusion around the spelling. We then went on to develop a brand website and images for use in her collateral.
