Client: D&AD New Blood & MUBI
For D&AD New Blood, MUBI was looking for concept campaigns to encourage people to sign up and stop scrolling through lower quality content from other providers. Our research showed that MUBI users are more discerning and use it in conjunction with other streaming services. We came up with the concept to use quintessential movie quotes and stills to present the audience with a series of humorous parodied misquotes. The familiarity and colloquial tone encourage further investigation of MUBI. We’d place the adverts in high-end newspapers magazine and on the transport network in the autumn to entice people to sign up.
